Upgrade to WP3.3 – Content missing from dashboard

i have some missing content problems after upgrading to the new WP3.3

My posts and pages dissimilar to other foruum posts are on my site. However when I go to edit posts pages from my “dashboard > all posts” I see no content under the visual and html tabs.

There is a word count under the window > I must be missing something obvipus but would appreciate some pointers please
