[Plugin: Viper's Video Quicktags] Viper's Video Quicktags – link buttons to add youtube vi

  • Hi, I am not to sure what happened. But at the moment I cant use the button to add a youtube video or any other video using the Viper’s Video Quicktags buttons.

    I can still add the video if I paste the
    [youtube]( https://www.youtube.com/youtubevideo) &feature=related[/youtube]

    and that works fine…but not if I click on any other buttons.

    My java is working fine…as the other buttons that use the javascript work. I also tried on a different laptop! Got same problem.

    Not to sure if anyone else is having the same problem? Or how to fix it…

    Have tried de-activating it and activating it…still hasnt worked…dont want to uninstall and install again…encase it breaks

    Try disabling all other plugins and/or clearing your browser cache.

    I have this symptom when I have WP Symposium enabled. It appears the 2 conflict. I have tried every possible configuration with WP Symposium but there seems no easy way currently that the two can work together.

    Sorry for the late reply.

    Just seems to have happened after I updated to wordpress 3.3.

    I just disabled all my plugins besides for this one…and then i tried again…on posts and pages, still doesnt work.

    Well it does work if you copy the htlm code and put it in there…so the actual plugin works 100% just not the short cut link, when you editing a page or post -> you cant click on it, and open it up…and just copy the youtube video link in there. But it’s ok…for now…I just copied the code.

    Not to sure what else to do…will try a few more things…also tried to disable and re-enable that plugin as well.

    Try the twenty eleven theme and clear your cache again?

    same problem, I have done everything above still no result, shame cos its usefull
