• Steve,

my WordBooker recently decided that it also wants to publish post that are custom post types to Facebook. This is very annoying, please include an option to disable/and/or control how WordBooker deals with custom post types.

I think the problem started with the latest version of WordBooker (the one in which you finally fixed the image-problem). Before that WordBooker only published actual Posts to Facebook, not Post of a Custom Post Type. Can I get that back, please?

Nothing concerning custom post types has been changed, ever, as far as I know. The last changes simply changed the image elements of the post array which was sent to Facebook.

Custom post handling is coming in Version 2.2 which I will be working on once V2.1 (comment handling) has been released.

Actually, thinking about it, it might be because I updated to WP 3.3 at around the same time that I installed your update. Could that be the reason?

So what is WordBooker supposed to do with custom post types? Publish or not publish?

    Thx.

Steve, I think I found it. I recently enabled “Default Publish Post to Facebook”. Before that, I never noticed that WordBooker can also publish Custom Post Types (because I actually never had any reason to publish them manually). So now that I’ve set it to automatic publishing, I’m noticing it for the first time.

In conclusion, I guess that it is indeed, as you said, expected behavior. So I will set it back to manual publishing for now.

Still, it would be very nice to have the ability to control how custom post types are published in one of the next updates. Looking forward to it!

So now that I have set it back to manual publishing, the post-image again does not show up on Facebook. This gets frustrating…

Check your diagnostic logs – is Wordbooker finding an image in the post. There is NO difference in the code that runs when its publishing.
