menu highlighting current_page_parent

  • I had the plugin all-in-one-seo pack activated and decided to change to wordpress seo by Yoast. My menu was defaulting to wp_page_menu and the menu highlighted the parent of the child pages. I imported all the settings to WordPress SEO from all-in-one-seo and deactivated all-in-one-seo.
    The menu disappeared. Only the home page showed in the menu. I then set up a menu in the apperance menus area and used wp_nav_menu. The pages reappeared on the menu, but the childpages no longer highlight the parent.

    I am really stuck and cannot find a solution. Please can any one hel?
