Why use a plugin to create a contact form

  • Hello

    Just creating my first theme with wp and I have a contact form to create. I was just wondering why you would choose to use a plugin to create the form rather than just coding it as you would on a static website.

    Is it just so the user can edit the form or are they other advantages?

  • In order to create a working contact form, you effectively have to write you own plugin. So why re-invent the wheel? And, yes, I’d say CF7 was the best contact form.
