remove "posted by" in posts.

  • Im the only one using my blog so it makes no sens of each time showing that info.

    I′ve tried to scan the internet for understandable solutions for this but im sure that someone in this forum will have the exact info i need.

    It′s mainly the “posted by” in the homepage when all posts are in “preview” mode. Greatful for an answer. Thanks!

  • as you are using a commercial theme, please contact the theme seller for support.

    without free access to all theme files, helping through this forum is vistually impossible.

    Ok, but lets for the sake of things say that i was using “twenty ten” theme. What should I do? I figure its worth a try, many its all the same.

    this wont help you much:
    twenty ten uses a function ‘twentyten_posted_on()’ in loop.php and loop-single.php; the function code is in functions.php of the theme.

    all themes are different; one basic way is to search index.php (?) or in extreme all theme files and to look for the words ‘posted by’, possibly somewhere near to some code with ‘the_excerpt()’.
