Static frontpage

Hi!
Could someone take a look at our wp-homepage, grafengruppen
Our static frontpage dont allow us to just have the slider, the themes loop dont allow us to have it blank with just the slideshow. Someone have suggestion how to fix this?
And also how to change the gradient on the nav bar more white/grey/black.
Please would appreciate if someone would reply asp!
