[Plugin: Pinoy Pop Up on Exit] The plugin doesn't work with IE8

  • I think this plugin is great unless you are on Internet Explorer 8. When you click on a link to go to an internal page when using IE8 browser, the popup shows. When you hit “OK” on the popup, the correct internal page is shown but it is confusing to the user. I think IE8 has a some sort of timing or timeout issue with “onbeforeunload” function. Is there any fix this on the plugin?

    I think I fixed the problem because we had “onclick” from a previous javascript code. It now works in IE8. Thanks for the plugin.
