How to connect to MSSQL via connection string?

  • Hi guys,

    For some reasons, I have to run wordpress on IIS 7 with MSSQL 2008. I’ve managed to get it run.
    However I need to use connection string which saved in web.config, instead of filling up my database info on wp-config. As expected, I’m now getting database connection error. Please advise on how I can get it running. Thanks.

  • I don’t believe you can use Ms SQL… You might be able to find a fork with an abstraction layer that could be made to work… But I’m pretty sure your outta luck on out-of-the-box WordPress…
