Have Posts Renew or Repost After a Certain Period

Is there a way to have a post renew or redate itself after a certain period of time? I.e., this is for an events site using WordPress, with each event representing one post. Is there an easy way to have the event post repeat or renew (similar to how it would work in a Calendar?) for a recurring event? I can’t seem to find a plugin or anything to help me figure out how to do implement this.
