• How do I batch delete draft posts I don’t want? Say I have 30 items sitting as drafts and I choose ten titles I want to publish but remove the remaining…I can’t seem to do that. I don’t want to edit them that is an extra step. I just want to delete the items from the draft queue I don’t want.

    thanks in advance

  • I don’t think you can. On a side note, the time it took for you to write this post I am sure you could have deleted all of them two times over by now.

What does that have to do with it? If you can’t help then why reply? FYI: I did manually delete them, but that fact doesn’t help me in the future. This is going to be a regular workflow, so I wanted to see if anyone knew of an easier way.

I guess the easier way is for me to write a plugin that will list draft posts like published posts. Then have a toggle all feature with a master delete. Anyway…I really didn’t need the smart remark.

I’m also interested in a “bulk delete” of drafts.

Help would be so appreciated, as I cannot handle manually deleting hundreds of drafts per day.

Let me guess, your last name is Hearst.

It appears Ken did exactly what he said he would do and wrote a plugin. Follow the link in his name to his blog, there’s a post and a download link.

    I did indeed ??

Here is a permalink to Draft Control @ WP-Plugins

The next version will support WP 2.0 along with new features.
