[Plugin: Contact Form 7] contact form 7 wont show

This looks like a theme-related issue. What happens if you switch themes to the default WP theme, TwentyEleven?

With the latest version you are presented with two sets of code:
The new and the old…

Admin Dashboard>Contact> shows old and new code to be used.

[contact-form 1 "Contact form 1"]

Where 1 is form id.

Not sure I understand as I can only see one code. Do you mean I change the code [contact-form-7 id=”176″ title=”Contact form 1″] from “7” to “1”

What version is the plugin are you using?

It appears they just released that version, I am at 3.0…

And, no the 7 is contact form 7, the form is 1 in your code. Replace it with what I posted.

In 3.0 this fixed my issue.

Also, if you have any accompanying plugins to CF7, they need to be deactivated before updating CF7.

webbiz12 is using WP 3.2.1, so there is no reason for the new shortcode not to work, AFAIK, but perhaps the old version is more pass-through than the new one.

Yeah, good point! In the code editor, you have two tabs: Visual and HTML. Make sure it is set to HTML (code view, ans SwansonPhotos suggested).

I have been pasting the code in “Html not visual.

SwansonPhotos i copied and pasted your code as you sent it to me but it made no difference.
Is there a way of getting an older version that would work perhaps?
