Comment links broken, how can I fix this?

  • Hi all,

    Woke up this morning to find that when people leave comments on my blog, instead of the normal name linked to their URL, it shows up like this:

    https:// hisbirdiesnest.blogspot.com’);” rel=’external nofollow’ class=’url’>Ali @ His Birdie’s Nest – I love engagement shoots around peoples homes. That first photo is my favorite

    Any idea what is going on and how to fix this? I didn’t change anything, and comments appear normal on the back end. It seems to have changed all previous comments as well, that were fine when left.

    PS, I broke above link purposely, as it’s a real site.

  • have you contacted the theme seller for support?

    help for commercial themes through this forum is very limited because nobody has free access to the theme files.

    general checks:
    have you added any plugins (some tracking plugin?) before the problem started?

    Thank you, I will contact them… wasn’t sure if this was a more general issue or not, but hopefully they’ll be able to help.

    I’ve had Google Analytics and Counterize both installed for quite some time, and hadn’t upgraded either recently — in fact, I haven’t added anything until I started playing around with upgrading to see if i could fix this. Strange!
