Plugin for taking score?

I’m stuck. I’ve been looking for a plugin where I can take score between multiple people. We’re playing a game and want to be able to update our points online (through a user account). For example, if we play tetris, we want to be able to update our score ourselves on the scoreboard.

The closest thing I could find is cubepoints. I’m looking up right now to see how it works, and if I could use it for what I need.

It looks like it won’t be simple adding user accounts to the picture. Any general ideas/places to look into for this? I haven’t been able to find much so I’d prefer wrong answers to no answers.
