Move from subdomain to root domain in subfolder

See Changing_The_Site_URL.

I tried that also

add to config
define(‘WP_HOME’,’https://example.com’);
define(‘WP_SITEURL’,’https://example.com’);
did not work I believe because I am attempting to put it in a subdirectory

Do you know of any other solutions??

That is what I keep trying to work though now, I may just have to end up paying someone.
