[Plugin: Contact Form 7] how to change Disable input field attribute

  • Hello guys
    i have use this plugin almost in a year but today i have little problem when make the input field to be disable/ readonly atribute.

    is there any way for us to make the input field to be readonly or disable, i have try to add the line [text fieldname id:myid disable]

    as i know the normal attr for disable is like this on normal input form <input id=”myid” type=”text” name=”name” disable>

    but no luck, seems not working, any idea how to do that ?
    sorry if my english not good enough…

  • I don’t think I’ve come across a field attribute for readonly in this plugin and there’s nothing in the documentation about it either. Perhaps this is a feature that might be worth requesting?

    thanks for your quick replay
    that sounds good, i think readonly attr will usefull for other user either.

    right now i need readonly field for displaying the result from other field so user cannot change it, but i still need that information to send in email, for a while i use alternate way by adding hidden field from default input cf7 text so i can gather information from readonly textfield, ??
