[Plugin: Events Manager] No Date Picker or Categories

  • I did a new install with Buddypress and the internal bbpress.
    Then I used Buddy Template to make the theme Shell Lite compatible with Buddypress.

    The only other plugin is Collabpress, which was installed first.

    When I tried to create an event, there were no popup calendars, I had to insert the dates by hand. But no event was created. Instead I got this error message:

    Edit Event
    Missing fields: event_start_date.

    Dates must have correct formatting. Please use the date picker provided.

    But there was no date picker anywhere on the page.

    Besides that, I created several categories before installing EM, but the only choice in the dropdown box is for Uncategorized.

  • do you get any error (PHP or JS)? can you try to disable plugin or change to default theme to see of its a plugin or theme conflict.
