Extending my customers involvement

  • Hello all,

    I am starting an information based blog/shop and i want to enable my customers to have an account on my site. I want them to have a profile page where they can link to pages from my site and around the web and manage this content, and possibly even start a blog. Does anyone know of any plugins that will do this for me?

    Also is there a plugin to allow customers to download a word document/pdf?
