Any Help would be appreciated

I have my posts setup where there is no featured image so all you see is title, and description. When you open set blog you have a nice clean layout of image, and text, and that looks great! Now my question is how do i set my Slider to show set post with an image without having to resort to using featured image, and the ugly thumbnail.

i just need to setup an image on the slideshow to direct it to that post without altering the blog post its self
