Sorry for being so new to WordPress but I’ve just switched from Blogspot (non-WordPress) to Blogsome and thought everything was okay. That is, until I just tried viewing my blog in Internet Explorer.

In Firefox, the background image displays okay. However, in Internet Explorer it doesn’t appear at all. Probably, the problem is down to the fact that I’m modifying an existing template (Aubergine Machine WordPress stylesheet) and don’t know what I’m doing.

Hope someone can help. For that, I’m extremely grateful.

    Cheers,
    Onnik Krikorian

Basically it was IE6.0 not liking the dimensions of the GIF file. Worked okay with a PNG but came out darker than in Firefox. Reducing the vertical height of the GIF file resolved the problem.
