Issue with Tag pages.

I seem to be having problems with my loop, when I go on an individual page and click on one of the tags it should take me to a page with all the posts containing said tag. However, as you can see here: https://bit.ly/pARszB that is not the case, instead my loop acts as it does on the home page and shows 6 posts from one category and 6 from another.

Is it possible to have a tag.php page which defines how the tag page should look? And if so, is the loop the same as the default WordPress loop?
