Yes I think you can move it below the featured image. Just do it with CSS.
#featured .ui-tabs-panel .info { bottom:-20; } for example.
Have you tried the last beta version of the slider ?

hi thanks for the tip! i was able to adjust and lower the title with description.

the plugin is now working PROPERLY on my site. very very nice ??
