• Hi, here is a request that I already sent by email and I’m now supposed to post it here in the forum:

I am missing one function that would be great for a future release: I have a category where posts are scheduled to be published every Monday, 9 am. Presently, I need to find out the right dates in a calendar and schedule the posts accordingly. When ever I decide to move up a post in the queue, or add a new one because of its urgency, I have to change the dates of subsequent posts as well.

So, it would be great to have a list of scheduled posts – saved without dates – , a date for the first post in the series, and a time interval for all (similar to recurring events in calendars, but not actually repeating the identical post, but processing the queue). Now I could re-arrange the order and all dates would be adjusted automatically. I think this would be a useful enhancement for editorial work since publishers often use items (cartoons, advice column, xyz of the day/week/month, …) that are pre-scheduled in regular intervals and fiddling with the dates every time can become a pain in the neck.

Sorry for the late reply. It seems like a complex feature to try and add into Edit Flow at this point, but pretty doable with extra code if you have access to a developer
