• I’m usually quite good with WordPress and my blogs (I’m running 4), but for some reason this has really dumbfounded me. I can’t figure this out.

blackpearlcatering.com is live, and the home page is all good, but for some strange reason, non of the other pages are showing, I get the following message…

    Not Found

The requested URL /contact was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Apache/2.2.19 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.19 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at blackpearlcatering.com Port 80

I’ve gone into double check everything and its all there okay.

    But take a look – https://blackpearlcatering.com/contact gives me this – https://screencast.com/t/2iplakDm

The pages set up is correct in canvas – as you can see here – https://screencast.com/t/B0QQ1hvLr

I’m using Canvass as a theme and have configured this all correctly.

The site was up and running fine previously. I hadn’t been on it for a while and just checked it now, and suddently saw all the pages down, except the home page?

    Any ideas to why?

    This has really confused me.

  • 1. if you can log in to admin – go to settings -> permalinks and hit save to reset your permalinks, then test

    2. Disable all plugins, if you don’t have access to the admin, do it via ftp by renaming your plugins directory and making a new blank folder named plugins, then test

    3. Same thing for your theme

    4. Finally talk to your host, see if anything is wrong with mod_rewrite or anything else

    Hi Voodoo

The permalinks resaving it sorted it!

    Well done! Great job!

    I’ll remember that next time.

    Thanks!

    Enjoy the weekend.
