    Hi Andy.

Sorry to hear that you’re having trouble. If you’re getting that error, it means that your plugin isn’t able to download or store the list of available languages from our API. Can you send me the URL of your blog so I can poke around in our server logs for requests initiated by you?

Also, you wouldn’t happen to have WP cron disabled, would you?

    Thanks.

    Steve

I was receiving the error message above also. It randomly went away. On the next screen, I see the following:

Before we can start translating your blog, you need to register with GTS.

If you have previously registered and have the activation information GTS sent to you via email, please follow the link provided in that mail to finalize the registration process. If you cannot locate the email, please get in touch with [email protected].

I click on the register link and I get this screen:

Verifying that you are an admin user of <myblogname.com> …

The first time I did this I got a massive page full of errors. Now anytime I try to register I just get a blank page with this url: translate.gts-translation.com/api/error/404

I tried deactivating and deleting the plugin and then reinstalling it, but I still get the same error. Can you please help?

    Hi there.

Sorry to hear that the sign-up process isn’t working for you. I’ve just released a new version of the plugin (1.2.0) that should fix the problems you’re having.

Before installing the new version, please make sure to quit your browser. That step is necessary because we need to make sure that all the session cookies are cleared before you try to register again.

If you do have trouble signing up again, please copy the error message you receive into this forum, and I’ll do my best to help.

Thanks a lot, and hope that helps.

    Steve

I am still having the same issue, even with the upgrade. I made sure to clear all cookies and Flash cookies too before running the register function again.

I get taken to https://translate.gts-translation.com/api/setup/error.3 and receive the following error message:

[76 lines of debug info moderated as per the Forum Rules. Please use the pastebin]

    stevevls,

It looks like I got moderated. Here is a link to the error in the pastebin format: https://pastebin.com/YH1J5Nhy

I’ve got the same error as happened with eliteim.
There was my first try to use this plugin…

stevevls, have you any solutions for this critical error. Or this project closed?

Oups… Just tried register it once more and got message:

Congratulations! Your blog has been successfully configured and is ready to start translating.

    Thanks!

    Hello…

First off, I’m glad that you were able to register successfully! I’m sorry to be slow in responding, I’ve been under the weather the past few days and have also been trying to coordinate a response with the CEO of GTS Translation. At the moment, these signup failures that we’re seeing are ultimately being caused by transient problems with one of our translation providers.

At the moment, French, Italian, German, and Spanish languages are 100% reliable. The rest of the languages are less so…it all depends on when you try. To fix that, we’re currently working on two fronts : we’re editing our website’s code to make the sign-up process more resilient against translation provider flakiness, and we’re talking with the problematic translation provider to try to smooth out the transient issues. Over the course of this coming week, we should be able to make progress on both fronts.

    Thanks for your patience!

    Steve

    Steve,

Thank you for keeping us updated. I hope the bugs get worked out soon.
