Don’t know what happened there. My host appears to have the facility to run nightly builds and as they are quite co-operative I thought I would try it out.
Before I do, what is the advantage of running nightly builds?
Basically, nightly builds give you have the latest version of wordpress straight from the developers, with cutting edge features that aren’t in regular WP. BUT Nightly builds are completely unsupported. You won’t get any forum help using nightly builds. Nightly builds are unstable, and there are always plenty of bugs in them. I strongly recommend that you stick with Strayhorn 1.5.1.3
And, by bugs, we mean really nasty bugs. Bugs that could wipe your entire wp_posts table just because you wanted to delete one post. So, if you use nightly builds, keep regular backups of your installation.
