Upload Files Without Using FTP

  • Hello Friends,

    Can anyone tell me, is there a way I can upload my files without using FTP?

    I am able to log into the Dashboard but I need to get my Child Theme files uploaded. This includes, my Screenshot.jpg, my child-style.css and a few other files.

    If anyone has an idea how I could go about this, I would be very grateful hearing from you.

  • Your host probably has a file manager with a web interface you can use.

    Thank you for your help, much appreciated.

    Unfortunately I have only been left with login information to the company WordPress Dashboard.

    No other information has been provided. If anyone else knows of a way I can get my Child Theme files uploaded. This includes, my Screenshot.jpg, my child-style.css and a few other files. I would be very grateful hearing from you.

    You can install a theme by uploading a zip.

    YOu are right, I did notice that on the Dashboard, but would I have to ZIP my files to do this properly?

    The only reason I ask is my Screenshot.jpg, child-style.css are only a few kb. Very small.

    Yes you need to package your child theme up as a zip to upload it via the them install uploader.
