Problem Updating Website

Looks like you’re talking about access to your service host’s FTP server, in which case your problem has nothing to do with WP. If I’m right in my interpretation of what you’re after, your service host should have provided you with those details. If you can’t find them you should contact your service host.

If I’m wrong in my interpretation you need to give a bit more detail about what you’re trying to do. Context is always nice.

When I log into wordpress, it asks if I want to update WordPress. I go to upgrade Automatically and that is when these options pop up.

I am not sure exactly what to enter in order for it to update, since my ftp information and word press log in information don’t seem to work.

That is where you have WP parked or what server it is on…

Peredur is right, that is the server information (Host name) it needs to update your files which are parked on your server you are leasing. Like mine is Network solutions (https://www.netsolhost.com/????? which then requires my User name and password to execute an update.

P.s Have you backed up your site incase you get an update that screws up your site like I just did today? FileZilla will help you do just that by logging in and copying all your files and downloading them into a folder on your desktop….Google Filezilla and how to do that but it is pretty simple steps to do. Hope this helps
