• I use meta boxes for some of the content on my more complex pages. This works great but when I make a change to the meta box info and then click “preview”, the changes are not displayed. I’m assuming this means that, by default, the “preview” functionality only displays changes made to the main editing window. Is there any way to get it to show the changes made to meta boxes as well without the page being saved?

I’ve also since discovered that the meta box information is not included in the revisions in WordPress. This is a bummer because I often use these meta boxes for content on pages with complex layouts. If I can only rollback the content in the main editing window, the revision functionality becomes a lot less useful.

Does anyone know how to make the meta box info get included in the preview/revisions functionality or is there some other workaround for this type of content to make it so it can be?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Just thought I’d see if anyone had any ideas on this. This seems like pretty crucial functionality to make WP work as a full-fledged CMS.

    Thoughts?
