it sounds as if your installation wasn’t done properly – I would try deleting it, and manually installing WordPress.

Done that, still no change.

Have you deactivated all plugins?

I don’t have any plugins. So, yes.

Have you tried:

– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

– switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Tried that:

– All plugins is deactivated.

– Tried switching to the Twenty Eleven and it still doesn’t work. The button and drop down menu on the main path (inmyownview.com) works then, but the control panel is still messed.

– I also tried resetting the plugins folder. Through PHPmyAdmin first, but the ‘active_plugins’ field is missing, so I can’t do any changes. So I tried the FTP way, but it still doesn’t work.

Have you tried re-installing WordPress?

Twice. Manually once.

Did you use a fresh download of WordPress?
Have you tried adding define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false ); to the bottom of your wp-config.php file (just before the require_once line).

Now it work’s fine after adding the define line. Thank you!
