[Plugin: All-in-One Event Calendar] User Event Submission

1. We do support iCal importing.
2. There is google map integration.
3. With All in one event calendar plugin, users can submit events. You just need to assign the Event Contributor role to the users that you want to submit events. When Event Contributors submit events, you will have to login to wordpress dashboard(wp-admin) and approve their submissions. You don’t need to use a third party plugin like gravity forms.

Thank you for reply. I recognized that your accomplished iCal imports but I couldn’t figure out how to enable event contribution from the public. Assigning an Event Contributor gets me half way there, so that’s something I could probably live with although I would prefer if the public could submit an event (possibly coinciding with registering as a subscriber). I actually went ahead and implemented the hacks recommended in the Gravity Forms – Event Calendar Pro tutorial. It works partially, i.e. the public can click on submit event link on the front page, which takes them to the Gravity Form. After completing and submitting the form, it is held for my moderation. Upon approval, I click ‘publish’ in your events menu>all events>edit. I’m not a coder so I all I could do was cut and paste the code. The title and description data transfer into your plugin but not the date, time, and venue. However, I’m guessing that since it works partially, you guys could figure out how to modify the hack in that tutorial to work with your plugin. I think it would be a cool amenity to offer your plugin users. I’d really like to your plugin take off. It has the most polished appearance and modern functionality of the 8 or 9 plugins I’ve been testing, including the ‘big boys.’ A plugin that has both a broad range of user event submission and two way integration with iCal (which you already have), would be the most powerful event plugin on the market (and you’re close)

I too am looking for the same solution. I’m sure it’s a matter of using Gravity Forms “Post Fields” section using a custom field item. Then just using a custom field name that would be used to create a new event. If you could tell us what all the custom field names would be, we’d be set.

I have to say this is the best calendar plugin I’ve seen, and I’ve used a lot. Well done!

I’m using this to create a company team site (much like basecamp), and your calendar plugin is going to be calendar portion of the site. But I need a front end way for users to create an event on the calendar and using a Gravity Form to create an event will be the solution.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry all, I’ve been giving incorrect information here.
I’ve been trying to keep on top of all bug reports and features and I am left with no time to write a tutorial. I am hoping to be able to finally get a tutorial done in a week.
