[Plugin: RSS Just Better] Not getting excerpt with shortcode

All works fine with Widget but using a text widget with Shortcode and setting
excerpt=”true”
Title displays, filter works but excerpt does not display. I know it is ‘pulling’ the text because the hover/title box displays it.
