Currently the upload folder is controlled by the media settings of WordPress. So the default would be /wp-content/uploads/.
I wrote this plugin with the intention that files would be retrieved through code as defined under the installation tab. If that doesn’t work, can you tell me what you are trying to do with the plugin, so I can try to accommodate for it in a future release?

Hi Mike, thank you for your answer.

It seems like the problem might be in my server, I already checked the uploads folder but there’s nothing there, hence why I thought maybe a “folder” declaration was missing.

Anyway, just in case, what I want to do is just to allow users with a certain level (ie contributors) to upload content that can be viewed by everybody BUT without the need to go to their profiles. Pretty much the way WP-Symposium uses it, only that way more simple. It would be nice if you can add that feature since IMHO it’s the main reason to upload content in WP

    Thank you again! ??

I’m just trying to provide a simple way for clients to send me files that are too large to email. I’d like to have a default folder option either in the plugin settings or in the shortcode, so that I can have all their uploads come to a specific folder that I know is client uploaded content.

It would also be nice to be able to put a blacklist of file types in the plugin settings to prevent uploading of potentially harmful files. I just want them to be able to send me images, audio, and video files. Everything else should be small enough to send via email.
