    Greetings:

I upgraded WP to 3.2.1, and now I can’t upload images onto pages in my website. When I use the “Upload/Insert” icon called “Add An Image”, I get the pop-up page I expect, but I can’t close the pop-up page.

when I open items in the Gallery for example, and Click on “Show”, the word “Show” changes to “Hide”, but there’s no expansion of the image data, and no “Add to page” option, as there used to be. If I click on “Open All”, then I see the data for each image, and can select an image, which appears on the web page, but as I mentioned above, I can’t close the pop-up page.

In other words, there’s no way to upload an image onto one of my web pages anymore. Can anyone help?

    Thanks, Airpilot

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Hi Esmi:

Good thoughts, but I just fixed it. It turned out to be an incompatibility with a previous version of NextGenGallery, an image presentation plug-in. When I updated that plug-in to latest version, the problem disappeared. I do appreciate your fast response to my problem!
