flv-video-converter not working, question about FFMPEG?

Hello wordpress forum,

here is the situation. I have XAMPP installed on my laptop. Apache working MySQL working. Then I installed wordpress -> working. Then I was looking a way for converting video while uploading it to wordpress. OK, I saw that I need ffmpeg, ffmpeg-php and flv-video-converter plugin. I installed ffmpeg into C:/ffmpeg/ffmpeg.exe and ffmpeg-php. in phpinfo() I can see ffmpeg, so this means it’s working. Then I installed flv-video-converter plugin for wordpress and it’s not working. I tried to put ffmpeg.exe in xampp folder in wordpress plugin folder and many more folders…still not working. I don’t know how to get this plugin to work?

Can you help me with this?

I’m also interested if I even need this plugin? Can I just put exec(ffmpeg -i ….) into the upload.php or something? If this can be done, how can I do it?
