Fill whole title space with image – TwentyEleven

  • Hey all.
    more n00b questions.
    i’ve started my site from scratch, i’ve got a child theme happening based on the TwentyEleven theme.

    I’ve managed to remove that lame search bar and now i wish to replace the title text with an image. i will have an image that fills the entire space 1000×142.

    I’ve gotten as far as inserting the image (even though for some reason it has a white line on the bottom urggg). Yet its way off center, and now the title box area (dunno what you call that) is growing in size.

  • Just upload it as a header image, Admin > Appearance > Header ?
    And switch of the titles there as well!

    thanks mate.

    i don’t know what happened between me going to sleep and me waking up but now the title image is gone (title, site title, as opposed to header image) but i like it that way haha. whatever has happened during the night is cool with me ??

    Well upload it as header image resize and adjust according to your desired size.
