  • Settings > Reading. Set your front page to whatever you want it to be. If you want to change text though, you need to edit whatever object you want to, not your front page. Probably a menu or a widget.

    Thxs Kev

have a look at my site https://www.tormond.com
On the main page there are four text boxes under main picture
I cant see what they are or where the text is so that i can change it

    Thxs for the support

They are widgets, and are located in Appearance>Widgets. You may need to expand the themes widget areas in the right-hand column (they are probably collapsed by default) and locate the specific widgets by title to modify their contents.

    Cheers

Those are text widgets located in sidebar 2

    DAshboard–> appearance –> widgets

open the text widgets in sidebar2 to make your changes

oops.. we were posting at the same time!

    Hi Dragon

The sidebar 1 and 2 are blank and allow me only to drag and drop widgets

I cant see the text anywhere

    Best

In that case, the widgets may be hard-coded into the page template, most likely in a file called home.php or similar. It’s hard to tell just by looking at your site from the outside, but this is where most hard-coded widgets would be found.

Unfortunately, it won’t be easy to change without knowing your way around the code. You may need some outside help if you’re not comfortable with php.
