Post showing multiple times on main page

  • I am using WPMU and on my main blog of WPMU (it shows posts from all other blogs) it is showing same post many times.
    It can be checked at https://blogs.kunals.com

    What should I do so that it shows posts only once.

    Also I want that it should show posts only from certain blogs and not all.

    Minor point – It’s WordPress Multisite, not WPMU (WPMU specifially refers to the separate install that was mu.www.remarpro.com – Semantics matter here, only b/c if you say WPMU, we’re going to assume that you’ve been using this since the pre-3.0 days and that does matter a great deal in trouble shooting).

    What plugin are you using to show those other posts? WPMU Sitewide Tags Pages?

    @ipstenu – Thanks for correcting me.

    Now, for Multisite I guess i installed Sitewide plugin (but don’t remember now, as I have installed it 8-9 months ago). I did search (before starting this thread) for installed plugins to check if sitewide is being used in my Multisite installation, but not able to find it.

    After this I was looking for plugin files in installation. And found sitewide-tags.php in mu-plugins folder.

    Now, how should I proceed further.

    First you should learn where your plugins are listed ??

    yourdomain.com/wp-admin/network/plugins.php

    Your NETWORK activated plugins are on the network admin window.

    So go there and see if it’s on. If so, go BACK to the main blog where you have the multiple posts, and see what the settings are.

    As mentioned in my previous post, I have already searched for all the plugins installed at the location mentioned by you. And after that as I have mentioned, “..I was looking for plugin files in installation. And found sitewide-tags.php in mu-plugins folder.”

    Further, I went to Network Admin, Settings, Network Settings, and saw there Global Tags with Post to main blog checked. Also, there is option of max posts set to 5000.

    Plugins in the mu-plugins folder show up in Network admin under the Must Use tab. You should be able to see the version there.

    You need the latest version of SWT with WP 3.1.3 and greater.
