Can someone help me out with this issue? I think my blog might have been hacked because anytime someone clicks on a link on my homepage it takes them to a page other than the link they are clicking on to a resources page. Each interior page should look like the home page but now the pages look like a blog roll. please help. here is the site

correction the link is taking me to the post but instead of only showing one post it’s showing all of the most recent posts.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

yes, i tried deactivating all of the plug-ins but this didn’t work because i use a permalink plug-in but the same plug in works for another site.

i don’t know how to dissect the codes by switching to 2011. what do i need to look for?

as far as resetting the plug-in folder, i will give that a try now.

also i should have mentioned the pages were coming up fine a few days ago and recently i received a form submission that’s when i realized what had happened. do you think the site has been hacked?

this didn’t work because i use a permalink plug-in but the same plug in works for another site.

Is that other site on exactly the same server? With the same theme and plugin set? When people make troubleshooting suggestions, they make those suggestions for good reason. You need to deactivate all plugins to see if this resolves the problem

I didn’t suggest dissecting any code yet. I asked you to try switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

do you think the site has been hacked?

There are no signs of a hack and an independent site scan was clear.

yes both sites are on the same server but the other site has a different theme.

Ok, I didn’t know but I just switch the themes over with all of the plugins still deactivated and the problems is still there.

whew, well that’s a relief. i even tried going through all of the different side bar codes, because i add the credit repair banner on the stop foreclosure pages of the site and the home page, but everything seemed to work fine at that point and then yesterday i noticed the problem. i received a web form submission that was blank and that lead me to go to the site to check things out and there was the problem. no more static pages.

the other site has a different theme.

Then you can’t rule out plugin/theme conflicts – which is why we ask people to deactivate all plugins.

Next, try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting via Settings -> Permalinks. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

Plus the h2 bar is gone, this is getting confusing.

Try re-uploading a fresh copy of the theme.

i found out after re-installing all of the files that the problem was the single post file.
