• I’m trying to ban someone who’s posting on my site as “managed chaos.” If I enter those words into my ban list I understand that I’ll ban anyone using “managed” or “chaos” in their username or possibly even in the comment body. Is there a way I can enter the phrase “managed chaos” as a single entity so it will only capture comments using this username?

No, there’s no way to ban a phrase. You’re better off sticking to concrete things such as URLs, unique names, and IPs.

The problem is the guy so far has come at me using 2 sep. ips & he may have more. In fact, he may have an infinite number I just don’t know. I’ve banned him by url & ip. I’ve also banned his ip using cPanel. But if he has more IPs he can keep this up forever.

Then, I suggest that you search for a way to randomize your IP and fight fire with fire. ^_^

I don’t know what “randomizing one’s ip” means. Can you explain a bit more about what that is? How would that make it more difficult for him to lv. comments on my site or access my site?

Please see my reply in the other thread.
