How to extract text from wordpress for translation

Hi. Can anyone help me? We have been asked to translate a client’s website (created in wordpress) in multiple languages. To do this properly and use all our normal methods and QA tools we need to:

1) Extract the text and images from the website and
2) Reimport the text when translated.

Does anyone have any suggestions how this can be done? Have search and can’t find anything that really fits the bill, but we can’t be the first people to have this problem!
