    Any ideas, thanks !

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply, in fact I have exactly the same problem without using the GG calendar (Google calendar was in public)
If I create an event from the backend I have the same issu.

    Regards and thanks !

    Hi,

Can you provide a link to your wordpress install where I can take a look?

    Thanks!

    Great,
    Can you try the following:

    1. Go to wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar folder on your server.
    2. Open all-in-one-event-calendar.php file in your favorite editor.
    3. On line 22 there is the following content:
      define( 'AI1EC_DB_VERSION', 107 );
      change it to:
      define( 'AI1EC_DB_VERSION', 108 );
    4. Save the file on your server and try recreating the events.

Let me know if it works.

    Hi,

Thanks, in fact nothing work, I have an error 500 when I try to save a new event.

    Regards.

Tristan, I’d like to help you to solve the issue:
Could you fill a ticket with our support system and provide us with some sort of access to your wordpress install (we need a temporary administration access to your WP install to fix the issue for you).
The information shared on our support system is only visible to you and The Seed Studio developers.

I am receiving the same fatal error as tristan posted. It seems to be random and for me, it seems to be on events that have long descriptions.

Suggestions: There needs to be a way to limit how much of the description is shown on the agenda page as it overwrites things and makes it difficult to read.

The subscribe and subscribe in google calendar should be options.

A search function for the calendar.

    Widget for sidebar.

Possibly a small calendar at the top of the agenda so that people can easily go to a specific day.

Feel free to browse around here as I am currently testing it and since the site is based on events, it is a good testing enviroment.

    Thanks.

    1. Can you give me a url with an event that is producing this error?
    2. Sure, I will see what we can do about it.
    3. Subscribe buttons are optional in v1.0.5 You can enable/disable them from settings
    4. We have it in mind.
    5. There is a widget in v1.0.5
    6. Nice suggestion, we will see what we can do

Here is a url with one of the fatal errors:

    https://treasurecoasthappens.com/ai1ec_event/muster-xxvi-54/

Also, just got off the phone with tech support from the hosting company and they said this plugin is causing the site to crash due to high load. I’ve been receiving intermittent 500 errors since installing and had them monitor it for me. Last night, it crashed the mysql server.

This is a great plugin and would love to continue to use it with a few tweaks!

    @ tchappens

It seems that the ical feed is causing the problem.
Can you provide me with the ical feed that you imported?

It does it on any ical feed when it has a long description. The oddest thing is, when you edit the post, all the info is there so when you hit “update” it then shows up properly. Has to be some type of glitch.

Next…I downloaded the update and I thank you for things that had been changed!

Definitely needs a way to pull up a single day and a search function.

Another suggestion and another glitch! Suggestion: Need a way to save venues with addresses (I have over 300 venues that I use)

Glitch with recurring events. Visit the calendar on my site:

https://treasurecoasthappens.com/calendar/ and look in the month view for the month of October and you can see the problem clearly. There is an event scheduled to recur for a few weeks. Each day, it seems to be adding yet another event (same event), so on the 1st day there is 1 event, on the 2nd day there are 2 events and so forth.

Please advise as to the suggestions that I have made as this will determine whether I will continue to use this plugin. There really isn’t a plugin that does all these things which is why I have been forced to use an outside solution. I am currently embedding calendarwiz into the site, but am not thrilled at having to use an outside source, but they are the only program that has all the features needed for an event site! Thanks in advance and I hope I am not overwhelming you.

    @ tchappens

    Error related:
    Thank you for reporting this.
We are aware of the issue and a fix will be released in 1.0.6 version.

    Suggestion related:
You can use an event system like Eventbrite.
Here is an example of all-in-one-event-calendar plugin running with Eventbrite embedded in event’s description: https://www.momentumsalesacademy.com/ai1ec_event/successfully-selling-hud-homes-north-carolina/
We have plans to integrate Eventbrite in the plugin in one of the next releases.

Error: This plugin takes over the search function and the default site search only searches events.

Unfortunately, because of these issues, I will be forced to uninstall this plugin. I hope to see some changes in the future. Good luck!
