How to make Twenty Eleven header into rotating images?

Hello gurus of WordPress.

I absolutely love the Twenty Eleven theme. Very clean and elegant.

But one thing is annoying me. I don’t like how the banner only displays one image. I found an image widget that allows me to rotate images at the same size banner (1,000 X 288) , but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to either:

1.) Delete the default header altogether and replace that space with a downloaded widget that rotates images.

2.) Concert the existing default header so that it rotates (I am assuming this requires very advanced coding skills?)

Is this at all possible? Or is there a theme that I can use that is similar that would allow me to install a header with rotating images?
