• Hi there,

After hours of searching, it’s clear to me that this is the best plugin for what I want to do. Quite simply, I want to aggregate a bunch of RSS feeds and have them show up as posts into my blog. The one thing I’m struggling with is filtering.

Basically I want to only show posts that include certain keywords/phrases. I went to this page: https://feedwordpress.radgeek.com/wiki/syndicateditem which pretty much does what I want to do… but the example uses one phrase, “Lorem ipsum”… I want to have several phrases tied together so it filters and only returns:

“Lorem ipsum” or “dolor sit amet” or “Consectetur”

It’s also not clear how you install this code… is the page a standalone plugin that you activate?

Thanks in advance for any help… if there’s a URL somewhere that explains this already… that would be great too.

    Thanks again!

  • Have you tried it in the tag and category tab in the syndication settings?

In the category tab, you have the possibility to select if the plugin should match keywords with your existing tags/categories. In case the new posts tags or category does not match, it will not be published or save as draft.

I’m not quite sure if you could filter posts in another way!

I am using yahoo pipes because I filter by the number of words or you can use https://www.feedrinse.com/ to filter keywords.

Thanks to both of you… I’ll check both of these out later today. Feedrinse looks very interesting!

I thought there was a way to do this within the plugin without using the pipes or feedrinse?
