• Hi Mike,

    Love the plugin.

Have noticed since the last update that the parser that checks the format of the email address in the field ‘E-mail To:’ is not accepting .co.uk email address.

For example [email protected] is gives an ‘ERROR: Misconfigured “E-mail To” address.’ in the settings page and also on the web page itself which stops the addressee being selected on the page when there are multiple options.

    Many thanks,
    Steve

  • .co.uk email address is fully compatible. That address works fine on my test server. There is another problem. Either you have not followed proper syntax as per the instructions, or your server fails to check the MX record using DNS.

Click ‘help’ next to the email to setting for full instructions.

Also, you can try unchecking this setting “Enable checking DNS records for the domain name when checking for a valid E-mail address.”
The setting improves email address validation by checking that the domain of the email address actually has a valid DNS record.

Thank you Mike for the early reply and the pointers.

This is what I did to clear the issue.

    1) I deselected “Enable checking DNS records for the domain name when checking for a valid E-mail address.” checkbox
    2) Saved the form
    3) Re-enabled the checkbox
    4) Saved the form

And it cleared the problem (or whatever got stuck) and the form is now working perfectly.

I have Google Apps set up (with domainkeys and the full shebang) for the Charity I volunteer for, I guess maybe the server when I last updated didn’t or couldn’t get something, and it got hump!

Disabling, saving, and re-enabling that checkbox cleared the issue.

Many thanks Mike you are a star.

    Kind regards,
    Steve

Can somebody tell me where my attachments go? please? I believe I did everything right but when i test the form and I upload the image i dont get it in my email, where does it go? I tried using GEEKMAIL and ofcourse WORDPRESS what the Hell is wrong?
