Twitter Doesn't work

  • The Twitter widget doesn’t work.

    It just says “Error: Twitter did not respond. Please wait a few minutes and refresh this page.”

    Brand new WP install with NO OTHER PLUGINS. JetPack ONLY.

    Hi,

    This is typically a Twitter issue. Their servers sometimes get overloaded and this message will pop up. If you have any sort of cache plugin (Super Cache or W3 Total Cache, for example), you may continue seeing this message until the cache clears. When Twitter’s servers settle down, your widget should respond normally again.
