Removing logo in Delicate theme

It’s just an image, you could create a new image with your site name and overwrite it. It’s 260px × 90px name it logo.gif and place it in
/wp-content/themes/delicate/images/logo/

I located that portion of this procedure, and created a new image. But right now that image is just sitting in a folder waiting for me to fix what i’ve probably messed up. The element as it looks now is
<img src=”https://sweepingtheusa.org/wp-content/themes/logo.gif/images/logo/logo.gif&#8221; border=”0″ class=”gif” alt=”SWEEPINGTHEUSA”>
with no image showing up.
Exactly what do I need to do to get this gif image visible on our site?

The url for the image is wrong https://sweepingtheusa.org/wp-content/themes/logo.gif/images/logo/logo.gif

You have logo.gif in place of the theme name

It should probably be https://sweepingtheusa.org/wp-content/themes/delicate/images/logo/logo.gif

Ok, I realize my error there. So I finally understood what you were telling me in your first post, to name it, and place it in the same subfolder. Then I went to the body of the logo image and inserted the new image in at the correct location. BUT the Delicate logo still shows up. Even though I overwrote the old image. Hmmmmm.

Name your new image logo.gif, overwrite or rename the original logo and it will use yours.
This still links to your old logo, so it hasn’t been overwritten yet.

I’m trying to do all of the above but I don’t know how to get my created logo onto the web so that I can save it as https://tobiv.com/wp-content/themes/delicate/images/logo/logo.gif

I created one in paint, saved it as a jpg and gif. I published it onto google plus but have no idea how to put it in the place of the “delicate” logo.
