I am running a 30 site multisite setup. One of my sites needs to have its own separate facebook and twitter links from the “Stay Connected” widget. All 30 pages up to this point have used the same links to facebook, twitter, and youtube, and now I just need the one site to have different links to facebook and twitter.

Since I only need the links modified on 1 of the 30 sites, I attempted to manually change it from wordpress. I entered the code directly into the “Stay Connected” widget:

I was hoping that this would override the php include from the main template, but the code I entered is apparently still being overridden by the main site.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue?

    Thank you in advance.

Aren’t the widgets per-site? If so, you can just configure the one site differently.

    Ipstenu,

Thank you for the reply. We actually did try it that way yesterday, and it’s still being overriden. We tried to configue it separately and tried to rename, redirect, and change the links in the renamed file also. It still goes to the same links as the rest of the sites. Doesn’t seem to make any sense.

I got it figured out. Just a stupid oversight on my part. I had the widget it two different sidebars and I had only changed it in one them. Once I changed it in both, it of course worked right away. Thank you.
