• Hi,

    i loaded a mailing list i had from an old site of mine, but i did a mistake setting “plain text” for all the list. I’ve already sent some newsletter but I’d like to change the default setting to “HTML excerpt” to the whole list, as people have then the possibility to change this if they want.

    Is there a way to do this? In WP? In the database replacing the value of some field?

    thx

  • @crashtest,

    Go to Tools->Subscribers in the administration area of WordPress, filter on your Registered Subscribers and then scroll to the bottom of the page, check HTML – Excerpt and click the ‘Bulk Update Format’ button.

    thx for your answer MattyRob, i found that options but is available only for registered subscribers.

    I’ve a list of 990 addresses, and only 55 of them are registered subscribers (because they’ve already registered to the new site), the others are “public subscribers”.

    How to change from plain text to HTML excerpt for the whole list?

    @crashtest,

    Public subscribers don’t get HTML emails unless you use the paid Subscribe2 HTML code. If you’ve bought that then you need to upload that code to your server and public subscribers will get HTML emails.
