Wordsocial posts not showing up on friends' news feed

  • Hi Tommy,
    Just added Wordsocial to a site and publishing to FB and TW works like a charm. Except that posts to FB do show up on the account’s wall i’m publishing to but not on friends’ feeds/FB homepages. When I explicitly share that post through the FB account it does show up.

    Looked everywhere (in FB privacy and app settings, a.o.) but can’t seem to figure out how to solve this.

    Any ideas?

    Do you post on your personal account, or a fanpage ? You’re the first one told me that issue. So I really need more details to try to reproduce it.

    I know Facebook use an algorithm which choose the posts to display on friends’ feeds. So maybe it’s just that. But it’s really weird.

    Same issue happens for me.

    I post them to my personal page. Noticed my wife does not receive them in her news feed nor do some of my friends. I’ve checked the permissions of the post and they are correct (Friends).

    If I do the post myself, without wordpress’s auto post to fb, my friends do receive it on their news feed.

    Yeah I notice that since Facebook changed its API.

    With my dev version of the plugin, some posts are on the main feed, and others not. So I guess Facebook favors intern post now instead of ones used with external applications.
